Savannah is completing her Master of Applied Science in the Department of Mechanical Engineering under the supervision of Dr. Samira Gharehkhani. Currently, she is interested in advancing sustainable engineering practices through biomimicry and circular material strategies with a focus on lignin functionalization. Her previous research experience was centered around STEM education and the integration of the liberal arts.
Outside of her scholastic work, Savannah enjoys novel writing, watercolour painting and teaching with the Regional Cadet Support Unit (Pacific).
