Feasibility check: Expansion of drug checking to reach people who use alone and reduce overdose in private residences

Background

To determine the feasibility of expanding the reach of a Vancouver Island drug checking pilot project to more effectively reach people who use substances alone, are disproportionately dying from overdoses in private residences and are possibly not being reached by traditional harm reduction services.

Progress to date

Community-based qualitative research was conducted with articles currently under review. Project activities completed and closed.
