Background

The xaȼqanaǂ ʔitkiniǂ (Many Ways of Working on the Same Thing) project is an ongoing partnership between the Ktunaxa Nation Council, Interior Health, the University of Victoria, and the University of British Columbia. The one-year Bridge Grant supported our team to continue fostering foundational relationships and building capacity to support decolonized co-learning processes with Ktunaxa Nation and Interior Health to submit a Project Grant application in Fall 2020.

Progress to date

Refined and documented xaȼqanaǂ ʔitkiniǂ methodology as a resource for Ktunaxa Nation and to publish in an academic journal; co-developed plan for extending 5-year partnership with Ktunaxa Nation and Interior Health; submitted and successfully funded Project Grant application.
