Jacquie Day

Jacquie is currently in her 4th year at UVIC, and working towards a Bachelor of Social Work. Her passion and pursuit of social justice has taken her into the social work program, and continues to inform her personal activism. She is interested in local and International Human Rights issues including anti-violence work, women's rights and education, how to be an ally, and building networks and communities that support her vision of inclusion and anti-oppressive practice.

Jacquie will be working as a Program Assistant with Migrant Forum in India in Trivandrum, Kerala for 6 months.
