Nadya studied mathematics at Simon Fraser University before starting work in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside with people with addictions and mental illnesses. She is interested in social justice issues particularly relating to access to housing, healthcare and freedom of mobility and lack thereof. She enjoys reading, long walks in the woods and photography.
