While UVic is a busy place year-round, the summer months typically see fewer students on campus. Core student services remain available, but many units and departments reduce their hours over the spring and summer terms. Stay in the know by checking unit websites.

And though quieter, UVic is never sleepy. There are still plenty of things to see and do on campus and in our community this summer!

Student wellness

While the centres themselves have reduced hours, scheduled programming at both the Multifaith Centre and Student Wellness Centre will proceed as planned throughout the summer, including group counselling sessions. Stay up to date by checking our student wellness calendar.

SupportConnect is available 24/7 for free, confidential mental health support for UVic students.

If you have declared your program and can access your own CAPP report, you can meet with an academic advisor to help with CAPP interpretation or a graduation check.

Student appointments are a priority over the summer. As such, request for program declarations submitted in May will be processed by the end of August.
