Two New Entrance Scholarships
The Faculty of Law is pleased to announce the establishment of two new endowed entrance scholarships: the Bennett Jones LLP Alumni Entrance Scholarship and the Nash & Company Entrance Scholarship.
Both scholarships will be awarded for the first time in 2012-2013 to students entering the Faculty of Law with high academic standing.
A very special thanks to Jason Roth ('99) and his colleagues, Laurie Goldbach ('98), Deirdre Sheehan ('01), Colin Perry ('98) and Kelsey Drozdowski ('02) at Bennett Jones LLP Calgary and to Greg Nash ('81) of Nash & Company in Vancouver, for their exemplary leadership in the establishment of these scholarships. With their support, UVic Law will remain competitive in attracting top students from across the country and will increase access to legal education for students with diverse backgrounds.
