Students participate in UVic's world class co-op program to gain practical work experience.

Health Information Science Co-op helps students develop critical skills and connect with industry experts through paid work opportunities. Work terms are typically a minimum of 420 hours or 12 weeks in length during a 4 month term.

Co-op is a mandatory component of the schools’ BSc in Health Information Science program as well as the Masters in Nursing & Masters in Science (MSc) in Health Informatics double degree. It is optional for students enrolled in the MSc and PhD in Health Informatics program.
