The Employee Learning Program supports the professional development of all UVic employees by offering free learning sessions year-round.
This comprehensive program is designed in alignment with UVic's Strategic Plan, the UVic competency model, employee requests and ongoing feedback, to support your professional development and help you achieve your career goals. Through a variety of courses, Learning Suites, and Learning Series, you will find ample opportunities to enhance your skills, explore new areas of interest, and grow as a member of the UVic community.

Introducing the new Employee Learning Hub!
The UVic Employee Learning Hub is designed to be your one-stop destination for professional development, learning opportunities, and building connections within the UVic community. The Employee Learning Hub provides easy access to a wide range of courses, leadership resources, and tools to help you reach your career goals.
Course Catalogue:
The Course Catalogue in the Employee Learning Hub, organizes all the courses offered in the Employee Learning Program by Learning Suites and Learning Series.
Learning Suites offer in-depth knowledge and expertise on specific themes or skill sets. These courses can be taken individually or as part of a broader Learning Series, making them flexible to fit your needs.
Learning Series are sequences of related courses designed to build on one another, ideal for those looking to develop a deeper understanding of a particular area.
Each course has a description page so you can effectively curate your personal learning plan for the year! Learning sessions are currently being offered in many formats including: in person, virtually on Brightspace and workshops in 'real time' on Zoom. The course pages will enable you to access the correct registration platform for each course.
