Employee learning
Learning that Shifts U
Employee Learning that shifts perceptions, transforms relationships and aligns contributions.
The employee learning program supports the professional development of all UVic regular full-time and part-time employees by offering free-of-charge learning sessions. Learning sessions are primarily categorized into six series and determined through considering the UVic strategic framework, the UVic competency model, employee requests, and facilitator availability. New opportunities are offered regularly throughout the year.
Learning sessions are currently being offered in multi-week blended formats, or one-time virtual workshops.
Employees may take individual courses on their own or pursue completion of a full learning series comprised of core courses, flexible electives, and reflection opportunities. Series can typically be completed within 1-2 years.
