Academic advising

If you have any questions about the neuroscience graduate program, please contact our graduate adviser or the graduate program assistant. Both are available to help you with:

  • admission and program requirements
  • thesis/dissertations and oral exam guidelines
  • program extensions
  • supervisory committees
  • conflict resolution

For more information, please refer to the academic advising section of the graduate student handbook.

Conflict resolution

All members of the neuroscience program are responsible for maintaining professional and respectful relationships with their fellow students, staff, the university community and the public.

We encourage you to deal directly with individuals whenever possible to resolve disagreements, dissatisfaction, issues and conflicts.

If, for whatever reason, a situation cannot be resolved directly, you may consult the appropriate authorities as described in the chain of authority for conflict resolution, or access other resources on campus including the Office of Equity and Human Rights (EQHR).

For more information, please refer to the graduate supervision policy.
