Dr. Jane Gair announced as Associate Director in the School of Medical Sciences

I am delighted to share that Dr. Jane Gair has been promoted to Associate Director, effective July 1, 2026.

Since joining our institution in 2005, Dr. Gair has demonstrated exceptional leadership, a commitment to academic excellence, and unwavering dedication to our faculty, students, and mission. Through her contributions to teaching, research, and service, she has played a significant role in advancing the goals of both the School of Medical Sciences and Island Medical Program. Dr. Laura Farrell, Regional Associate Dean for the Island Medical Program, extends sincere thanks to Dr. Gair for her longstanding and exemplary leadership in the CBL role.

This promotion recognizes Dr. Gair's outstanding contributions and her consistent commitment to supporting students, colleagues, and institutional initiatives. She has repeatedly gone above and beyond in fostering a collaborative and supportive learning environment. In her new role as Associate Director, Dr. Gair will assume expanded leadership responsibilities and help shape the future direction of our academic unit. I am confident that her vision, expertise, and dedication will continue to have a meaningful and positive impact on our community.
