Civil Engineering

Our Civil Engineering program is unique, modern and innovative. It connects the different, traditional facets of civil engineering, such as structures, materials, transportation and water resources, to a focus on solving environmental challenges. The program is also designed to provide you with expertise in engineering solutions for remote and Indigenous communities.

  • Apply to the Faculty of Engineering as a high school student or a transfer student from another post-secondary institution.
  • If you're a high school student, you will declare Civil Engineering as your program after one year of full-time study.
  • If you're a transfer student, select Civil Engineering as your preferred program when you submit your application to UVic.
