Oona is a Honduran-American interdisciplinary artist, cultural organizer, and popular educator, weaving together movement music, land connection practices, and applied theatre to bring embodied resonance into community spaces that are working to transcend perceived division. She is a storyteller with the Beehive Design Collective, songleader with the Songs in the Key of Resistance, and artist collective member with the School of the Americas WatchShe also co-founded PLAYGRND EXPERIENCE, an experimental theatre collective that invites us to stretch our collective play muscles towards visions and embodiments of liberated futures.
