The University of Victoria and University of Victoria Foundation are excited to each present their first Responsible Investment Reports. While the responsible investment journey started in 2012, these reports are intended to communicate and provide a summary of historical responsible investment activities and highlight our progress over the past year.

Transitioning to a Green Economy: the Climate Finance project

A project aimed at expanding the potential of the finance and investment sector to support the transition to a climate-friendly, low-carbon economy has been announced by the University of Victoria hosted and led Pacific Institute for Climate Solutions (PICS). Sustainable student housing takes shape

UVic’s new Student Housing and Dining Project is one of the largest projects in Canada designed to achieve the Passive House standard. Designed to raise the bar for high energy performance, Čeqʷəŋín ʔéʔləŋ (Cheko’nien House) and Sŋéqə ʔéʔləŋ (Sngequ House) provide a mix of housing, dining, academic and conference spaces.
