Free electronics recycling depot
April 18 and April 20, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Outside the SUB near Felicita’s, in front of Emily Carr Residence
Did you know that electronics are banned from the landfill? They contain toxic materials such as lead and mercury that can be harmful to the environment.
Drop off your personal electronics recycling for FREE to the on-campus E-Recycle Depot. The first 25 people will get a coupon for a free pizza slice from the University Centre cafeteria!
The E-Recycle Depot will accept the following items:
• All computers and computer accessories
• Speakers
• Televisions/monitors
• Printers/faxes
• Scanners
• Audio & video playback/recording systems
• Non-cellular phones
The depot will not accept:
• Gaming systems
• Cell phones
• CDs/DVDs
• Kitchen appliances
• UVic-owned electronics
