2020 July – To all those students graduating this month, UVic Engineering and Computer Science offers its warmest congratulations.

Because of restrictions related to COVID-19, convocation is not taking place this term. However, we look forward to providing an in-person event sometime in the future.

“You’ve completed a very demanding degree – topped with having to finish your final term during the strange circumstances and unique pressures brought on by the pandemic,” said Peter Wild, acting dean of the Faculty of Engineering.

“I sincerely congratulate each one of you for the perseverance and hard work that made this possible and hope that you have a strong sense of your great accomplishment.”

Everyone at the faculty – professors, other instructors and staff – wish our graduates well in the future and hope they will visit once restrictions have been lifted.
