- Master of Arts (MA) - thesis-based
- Master of Education (MEd) - project-based
If you anticipate proceeding on to a PhD program, apply for the MA degree.
Program delivery
- On-campus, face-to-face
- Courses are scheduled in the evenings to accommodate family and work commitments during the day
- Students typically complete the program within two years/5 terms (without co-op) or three years (with co-op) of full-time studies.

Program plan
The MA program consists of 15 units of study and includes:
- Coursework - 9 units (6 courses/1.5 units each)
- Thesis - ED-D 599 (6.0 units), incl. an oral examination.

- Coursework - 10.5 units (7 courses/1.5 units each), including the required ED-D 561B
- Project - ED-D 598 (3.0 units)
- Comprehensive exam - ED-D 597(1.5 units).
