About Ratnadira
Ratnadira Widyasari is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Victoria. Her research focuses on advancing software quality assurance through automation and explainability. She is particularly interested in exploring how artificial intelligence and large language models can be used to build more reliable, transparent, and effective software engineering tools. Her research has been published in leading software engineering venues, including conferences such as ICSE and FSE, and journals such as TSE, TOSEM, and EMSE.
She received her Ph.D. in Computer Science from Singapore Management University. Beyond her academic work, she is passionate about communicating technical ideas to broader audiences and making research more accessible to the public. She was a finalist in the Asia-Pacific Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition in 2024. In 2025, she was named one of Singapore’s 100 Women in Tech in recognition of her contributions to technology and research.
