About Teseo

Teseo is an assistant professor of computer science at the University of Victoria. He holds a PhD from the Faculty of Informatics at the University of Lugano (USI), completed under the supervision of Professor Kai Hormann, with a thesis on the theory and applications of bijective barycentric mappings. He subsequently held an SNF Early Postdoctoral Mobility Fellowship at New York University, working with Professor Daniele Panozzo.

Teseo's research interests span computer graphics, geometry processing, discrete differential geometry, finite element simulations and numerical simulation. He is the lead developer of Polyfem, a flexible and easy-to-use finite element library, and serves as one of the maintainers of libigl and a contributor to Wild Meshing, a robust 2D and 3D meshing library.
