About Rich
Rich is an Associate Teaching Professor in the Department of Computer Science. He teaches undergraduate courses in numerical analysis, algorithms and data structures, foundations of computer science, and numerical linear algebra.
Rich holds a PhD in Computer Science from UVic, where his dissertation focused on the development of a formal grammar with applications in natural language processing. Rich also holds an Interdisciplinary Master's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science & Linguistics from the University of Northern British Columbia and a BSc in Mathematics & Statistics from the University of Western Ontario.
