Samantha Sperling and Keeley McCormick received the Coast Capital Entrepreneurship Co-op Award for their work in improving an existing medical device.
A BME/ECE design team received the first place IEEE Kelly Manning Award for their capstone design project on “Optimizing Safety & Efficiency: Advancement in a Naloxone Auto-Injection Device” in collaboration with a University of Victoria research group.
Eligible BC residents can now access the StrongerBC future skills grant towards UVic Biomedical Engineering's Project Management for Biomedical Device Development.
