Level up with the StrongerBC future skills grant

Eligible BC residents can now access the the StrongerBC future skills grant to acquire or upgrade skills in knowledge translation and technology transfer in health and medicine through the Project Management for Biomedical Device Development micro-credential offered by UVic Biomedical Engineering. The grant is available to British Columbians aged 19 years or older, regardless of financial need. It provides up to $3,500 per person for eligible short-term skills training at public post-secondary institutions and allows BC residents to invest in their future and take their careers to the next level. 

The Project Management for Biomedical Device Development micro-credential was launched in September 2022 and is currently on its second offering. The future skills grant will be available to eligible learners who wish to register for the third offering which starts on September 7, 2023. Interested learners who meet eligibility criteria should fill out the application form which will be available when registration opens.
