Where can a degree in Social Sciences take you? Come join us for a networking event just for Social Science students and find out!

Take part in a networking warm-up, then practise your new skills with employers and alumni who hire grads from your program.

Many employers are not only looking to hire Social Science students, but they also hold degrees in these areas. Come pick their brains to learn how to navigate a rewarding career.

Linley FaulknerPolitical Sciences Grad - Co-founder of Emplomacy talent search organization with a focus on startups and tech, Chair of the Coast Capital Youth Community.

Ryan GerhardtEconomics Grad - Co-Founder and VP of Business Development of RingPartner, Previously, Ryan was president of Tap for Tap, Director of Mobile at Neverblue Media, and gained experience with the BC Ministry of Small Business and Revenue.

Jenny PyeGeography Grad - Her work experience to date has focused on social policy, land use and environmental planning, and community governance including working with the Government of Nunavut and consulting in North West Territories.

John SomogyiAnthropology and UVic Cultural Resources Management program GradIs a Victoria-based consulting archaeologist who has over 20 years experience working in the field and in cultural/heritage resource management projects.
