Faculty and Staff Representatives to the Board of Governors
Under the University Act, the Board of Governors is responsible for the management, administration and control of the property, revenue, business and affairs of the university.
This fifteen-member body includes two faculty members and one staff member elected to serve three-year terms, commencing on July 1st.
Call for nominations and elections are held every three years, usually in December and January.

This is a first call for nominations for two (2) faculty representatives and one (1) staff representative on the Board of Governors for a term from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2029.

Nominations must be received at usec@uvic.ca or in Michael WIlliams Building A138 by Friday, December 19, 2025 at 4:30pm
If there is more than one candidate for any seat an election will be held January 19-23, 2026.
