Information security

Traffic flow between campus VLANs can be regulated by a rule-set known as an Access Control List. These can be configured to allow or deny traffic based on IP address, port number, or traffic type (TCP, UDP, ICMP). This service is meant to be used in combination with a local firewall for an added layer of protection.

This service is provided free of charge.

When is this service available?

This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, except during scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. You can be informed of service interruptions by subscribing to Informed.
