I grew up in Duncan and completed my BA at McGill in Montreal. For the last three years I have been doing cultural resource management in many different parts of British Columbia, most recently on the Sunshine Coast in shíshálh lands. I will be studying under the supervision of Dr. Iain McKechnie. I am excited about fisheries archaeology, ecology, GIS, and traditional fishing technology. My masters research will involve using multiple archaeological data sources to recreate past species characteristics, which will be useful for both archaeological and ecological purposes.
