Biography

After completing a B.Sc. in Physics and Astronomy at the University of Victoria, Nick moved to Japan to teach English for a year. This opportunity sparked his interest in education and public engagement, and returning to Canada after that year abroad, he moved towards a career focused on science communication and program coordination. With a passion for working in climate action, Nick brings experience in public speaking, organization, and relationship-building from previous roles with scientific non-profits. Outside of work, Nick loves bouldering, powerlifting, video games, and going out to live music - especially outdoors.
