Friday October 24
Open House | 5 - 7:30 pm | Murray and Anne Fraser Building
Join us as we kick off the 50th anniversary celebrations with an evening of connection, conversation, and reflection in the Murray and Anne Fraser Building. This casual open house offers a chance to reconnect with classmates, professors and friends over drinks and light refreshments. Tour the new Indigenous Law wing, and visit memorabilia displays through the building and within the Diana Priestly Library. Opening remarks will be given at 5:30 pm in the new atrium. Registration required (now closed).

Since 1975, UVic Law has dared to do things differently. Hear from the people who have been part of it through the years, and why “different” has always been our greatest strength. Registration not required.

Panel Discussion: The UVic Law Difference: Imagining What Comes Next | 1:30 pm | Murray and Anne Fraser Building, Room 152
Panel discussion. Fifty years later, UVic Law continues to challenge what legal education can be. How will the next generations of thinkers, teachers and practitioners keep the spirit of change alive? Registration not required.

Celebration Dinner| 5:00 – 8:30 pm | Sngequ House, UVic Campus
Enjoy a buffet dinner while celebrating the legacy and future of UVic Law. The evening begins with a reception at 5:00 pm, followed by dinner and remarks from Mrs. Anne Fraser, Dean Freya Kodar ’95, Professor Emeritus John McLaren, and former Dean Andrew Petter KC ’81. The dress code is business casual, and there will be a cash bar. Please note that seating will not be assigned. Registration required (now closed).

Parking: 
 To access the Murray & Anne Fraser Building, paid parking is available in Lots 8 and 4.
 To access Sngequ House, paid parking is available in Lots 5, 1, C, B and 2.
