In the know: Advice for International Students

Academic Enrolment Status: Are you aware of your current academic enrolment status at UVic? It is important that you know and understand your academic enrolment status at UVic because it will be reported to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and will therefore have a direct impact on your temporary resident status and work authorization while in Canada. Read our latest article to learn about your academic enrolment status and to be aware of possible immigration implications.

Have you finished your first year of studies? Now’s the time to apply to co-op to gain paid, hands-on experience related to what you’re studying. Co-op is available in almost every program! Learn about the upcoming deadlines, and why co-op could be right for you at uvic.ca/coopandcareer/apply.

Residence Services is hiring Community Leaders (CLs) & Residence Education Community Leaders (RECLs) for the 2022-23 Academic Year! These part-time student staff live in residence and support students’ academic and social transition to and through University.
