The UVic Global Community initiative coordinates events that are open to all international and domestic students, staff, and faculty! These events aim to share perspectives, celebrate diversity, foster intercultural connections, and cultivate an inclusive and globally minded campus.

Beach Social
Join us on Thursday, May 18th from 2:00 - 5:00pm at the beach to play games, enjoy some snacks, and make friends! Connect with new international students, Global Community volunteers, and campus partners to start off your summer in Victoria. A volunteer will meet you at UVic and together with a group you will walk down to Cadboro Bay Beach. We look forward to seeing you there! Click here to RSVP for this event.
Mini Golf
Come and join us for a summer afternoon of mini golf on Thursday, June 8th from 2:00 - 5:30pm! No prior golf or mini golf experience is required. We will be going to Blenkinsop Adventure Mini Golf, and you are welcome to travel with us by bus or meet us there! If you are taking the bus with us, please meet us by the bus loop in front of the bookstore (please bring your ONECard or $5.00 for bus fare.) Click here to RSVP for this event.
Legislature Tour & Beacon Hill Petting Zoo
Don't miss the chance to tour the inside of the BC Parliament building, eat ice cream, and pet some farm animals on Tuesday, July 18th from 10:00am - 2:00pm! We will start off this event with a guided tour around the BC Legislature, where we will learn more about British Columbia and explore the most iconic building in downtown Victoria! From there, we will walk to the Beacon Hill Drive-In for an ice cream break. Our final stop will be a visit the Beacon Hill petting Zoo to spend some time with the animals. To take the bus with us, please meet us by the bus loop in front of the bookstore (please bring your ONECard or $5.00 for bus fare.) Click here to RSVP for this event.
