History: B.A., M.A. (Memorial), Ph.D. (Reading), associate professor, undergraduate and honours advisor, has taught at Memorial University, Reading University, and Gonzaga University and joined this department in 1999.

Interests: include early modern philosophy, philosophy of mind, metaphysics.

Publications: Dr. Scott is the author of On Malebranche (2001) and his articles have appeared in Southern Journal of Philosophy, British Journal for the History of Philosophy, Journal of the History of Ideas, and Journal of the History of Philosophy.
