Biography
My work seeks to promote and integrated, equitable, culturally adaptive and trauma informed mental health care pathways for people with forced migration backgrounds, (i.e. immigrants and refugees) newcomers in high income countries. I use a variety of research methods and frameworks including Realist Evaluation, Implementation Science, Critical Social Theory- Intersectionality, Arts- based methods and Community Engaged Participatory Action Research to inform this work. Integration of health and social care is at the heart of this work.
