Emily Clegg is a full-time graduate student completing her Master of Arts in Applied Theatre at the University of Victoria. As an uninvited settler who resides on the traditional and unceded lək̓ʷəŋən peoples territory, the Songhees, Esquimalt & WSÁNEĆ nations land, Emily is committed to practicing decolonization in her applied theatre research. Currently, her research focus on storying experiences of  mental health seeks to challenge how the university mental health system could better meet the needs of post-secondary students. Emily completed her Bachelor of Arts in 2020 at Brock University in Dramatic Arts and has since completed an artistic residency devising her play, Nasty Women
