Booking & rates
The Farquhar Auditorium is a professional 1200 soft-seat performance venue offering full technical, ticketing and front-of-house support. As a not-for-profit space, it operates on a cost-recovery model—covering all expenses, including university use, through rental fees and chargebacks.

Rental rates
Performance day rental rates include:
- 2 ticket centre staff up to 4 hours each
- front of house staff up to 4 hours each (6 staff for main floor, 4 additional staff for balcony)
- 1 production staff up to 7.5 hours
Ticket charges:
- include GST should be included in advertised price per ticket
- complimentary tickets requested by presenters charged on settlement
Non-performance day rental rate: $75/hour (4-hour minimum, not including labour)
Commercial
Commercial rates apply to presenters outside the non-profit or education categories. These rates are based on a flat rental fee—The Farquhar does not charge a percentage of ticket sales.
