2020 October – Our sincere congratulations go to the 265 students graduating this month from UVic Engineering and Computer Science.

On Oct. 21, UVic awarded 213 undergraduate and 52 graduate degrees to students from the faculty. While we can’t celebrate in person, the faculty recognizes the significant achievements of the class of 2020.

“You can take great pride in what you have accomplished – especially during these unprecedented times,” said Peter Wild, acting dean.

“All of us in the faculty appreciate the dedication and hard work that you invested throughout your studies and during the abrupt transition that took place in your final year.”

As was the case for summer graduation, convocation will not take place this fall term because of restrictions related to COVID-19. However, we look forward to providing an in-person event sometime in the future.

Our faculty is proud of the resilience you’ve shown in these ever-changing times. Join the university community in celebrating this great achievement by checking out – and contributing to – the UVic grad wall, which shows posts about new grads.
