Abstract
Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT) is a key component in many digital-signal processing applications. In this talk, we advocate for using CORDIC algorithms for implementing multiplication by twiddle factors. Different methods for compensating the CORDIC scale factor are analyzed. Latency, throughput, and numerical accuracy figures are presented for a number of CORDIC-based Fourier transform impelmentations.
