ABSTRACT

Abstract:

Metal halide perovskite solar cells have emerged as promising candidates for next-generation photovoltaics due to their high efficiency, lightweight structure, and compatibility with low-cost manufacturing. However, scaling up production remains challenging because of moisture-sensitive crystallization, interfacial limitations, and the use of environmentally undesirable solvents. This research explores strategies to advance the scalable fabrication of flexible perovskite solar cells and modules in ambient air through electron transport layer engineering, humidity-tolerant perovskite inks, and environmentally friendly processing approaches. By optimizing material properties, film formation, and device architecture, these strategies aim to improve device performance and manufacturing compatibility, contributing to the development of sustainable, large-area flexible perovskite photovoltaics.
