ABSTRACT

Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) is a new graphics file format and Web development language based on XML. SVG enables Web developers and designers to create dynamically generated, high-quality graphics from real-time data with precise structural and visual control. SVG is a World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) recommendation and an open Web standard. The integration of SVG components with Web browsers and standard office platforms is already supported by many commercial vendors, e.g. SUN Microsystems, Microsoft Corporation, Corel Corporation, and Adobe Systems.
