2017 Diversity Research Forum

2017 Diversity Research Forum

The 2017 forum is now over. Thank you for the conversations.

Thank you!

Thank you to all who were able to attend or view the 10th Diversity Research Forum. This year’s event was an opportunity to take a retrospective look back at our critical conversations over the past decade and look ahead to next steps. The feedback on the sessions was very positive, with kudos to all the presenters. It was wonderful to see faculty, students, staff, alumni and community members sitting together and engaging in conversations. These conversations don’t work in isolation; we encourage you all to continue the dialogue, to listen and share ideas and perspectives and to ask questions. The conference ended with a commitment to action and to greater speed in moving diversity forward. We invite you to “lace up your running shoes” and join us on the journey. We look forward to hearing your stories.

Since 2007, the UVic' Provost's Diversity Research Forum has been promoting critical conversations about diversity and social justice topics and community-engaged university scholarship.

The conference is free, and open to students, staff, faculty and community members. Please join us next year as a participant or a volunteer.
