UVic United Way campaign 2019

President Jamie Cassels talks about his commitment and support for the United Way UVic campaign. Also Leah Potter, a member of the UVic United Way committee tells us why it is important to donate.

Although you may not realize it, you, your family, friends and colleagues all benefit from the work of United Way. When United Way helps us to build a strong, safe, supportive and sustainable community, we all win.

“UVic is a significant partner in the United Way Greater Victoria campaign, and this year we're calling on you to 'show your local love'. Can you volunteer to help in the campaign? Are you willing to be a donor? No effort and no amount is too small. We are aiming for 100% employee participation!"
—Campaign Co-chair Michele Parkin and Campaign Co-chair Catherine McGregor
