Installing an SFTP client

File Transfer Protocol (FTP) is a method for transferring files from one computer to another computer or server. For security reasons, the Computer Help Desk recommends that you use a Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) client when connecting to a server.

The Computer Help Desk recommends the following client, which supports and SFTP for most operating systems:
