How to add Echo360 media to Connect (SharePoint)

Noteyou can only link videos in the Connect (SharePoint) and not embed them.

  1. Have your media uploaded into your Echo360 Media library, accessed through the Echo360 portal, https://echo360.ca. Use your email address to log in, e.g., netlinkID@uvic.ca.

  2. In your Echo360 Media Library, find the video you want to link. Open it by double clicking on it. You can play the video to confirm it is the one you want. Find the share link below the video and click it to open the Share Settings pop-up window.

  3. Click the Links button and Add Link.

  4. Echo360 will create an Share Link. Click the Copy button. Hit Done when you are done.

  5. In Connect, Edit the web page you wish to modify. Unfortunately, you can not embed the video in Connect, you can only link to it. Build a link by typing a description, then highlight the description, and use the link button -> From Address from the toolbar.

  6. Paste in the link URL and click the Ok button.

  7. Click the Save button to finish editing.
