The legacy email webmail service is being replaced by M365 Email for students. If you're a current student we encourage you to upgrade your email experience by subscribing to the new service.

Students with existing webmail accounts can convert them to a new M365 account without any data loss.

Who can use this service?

  • Students

Outgoing students will be deprovisioned from this email service when they leave UVic and are no longer active students. 

What is the cost?

There is no cost for this service.

How do I access this service?

You get a basic webmail account when you create your NetLink ID. Your email address is your NetLinkID@uvic.ca. To activate your UVic email account, login to the student WebMail system. UVic email accounts can be accessed online through Online tools or WebMail.

If you would like more email features — including calendaring, a safer inbox, and more storage — current students can sign up for the new student email service.

When is this service available?

This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, except during scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. You can be informed of service interruptions by subscribing to Informed.
