Sam Seshadri wins 2021 3M National Student Fellowship!
Undergraduate Economics student Samuel Seshadri has been chosen as a 2021 3M National Student Fellow winner. Congratulations to Sam on this amazing achievement!
More than 50 impressive applications from across Canada were adjudicated this year before Sam was selected as one of the final ten fellows for 2021 by the President of the Society for Teaching and Learning in Higher Education.

Sam is heavily involved in both the UVic athletics and economics communities as a varsity rower and as a B.Sc. Honours Candidate.
He has also managed to find the time to be a Director of the Economics Course Union (ECU) here in our department where he has overseen the Peer Tutor Centre for introductory economics courses and has run volunteer-led Final Exam Review Sessions to help students succeed.
