As of September 21st, 2017 the PBO was confirmed as an official officer of Parliament and they are expanding their team and hiring the best economical and financial minds in Canada over the coming 24 months.
The Parliamentary Budget Officer (PBO) published the Fiscal Sustainability Report 2017 and for the first time, this report included the fiscal sustainability of each individual province in Canada. In response to this report, the team made up of Senior Analysts, and Junior Analysts, will be traveling across Canada presenting their findings and speaking about career opportunities at the Office of the Parliamentary Budget Officer.
If you are a senior undergraduate student, MA/PhD student, or alumni and interested in working at the new Parliamentary Budget Officer, please come to the November 7th information session!
As these positions are located in the federal government, preference is given to Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents.
