Economics grad student Rachel Lynch takes part in CAPI internship
Economics graduate student Rachel Lynch is currently taking part in the Centre for Asia-Pacific Initiatives (CAPI) Internship Program. Since 2003, this program has funded more than 150 Canadian students and graduates to complete international internship placements with partners across the Asia-Pacific region.
In Southern Province, Zambia, Rachel is working with SAM Project’s partner co-operative Lubemba. She assists farmers to begin and grow income-generating projects through a microfinancing program she co-founded in 2017. Rachel is also focused on improving the collection and use of data in program design, implementation, and evaluation of economic development projects.
