R. J. McMaster Bursary
One bursary of $600 is awarded to 1st, 2nd or 3rd year undergraduate student in the Faculty of Law. Preference will be given to First Nations, Métis and/or Inuit students.

Eligibility
Undergraduate students
General bursaries are open to undergraduate students who:
- Are Canadian citizens or are permanent residents of Canada.
- Receive the maximum full-time Canadian government student loans and grants for their period of study.
- Maintain registration in a minimum of 4.5 units in the term in which they receive a bursary (3.0 units for students with a permanent disability).
- Maintain registration in a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks of study for the term in which they receive a bursary.
- For continuing students, a minimum GPA of 2.0 in the previous academic session is required.
How to apply
Students must apply to both the General Bursary program and the Law Bursary program to apply for any of the bursaries specifically targeted for Law students.

The General Bursary deadlines are:
- June 1 for the Summer Session (May to August)
- October 15 for the Winter Session (September to April).
Only one application per session is necessary to be considered for all bursaries administered by Student Awards and Financial Aid. To be considered you must complete the application, which can be accessed through Online tools.
