UVRA Events
UVRA aims to involve its membership through different social and educational programs. Due to regulations limiting gatherings, UVRA had been unable to provide in-person events to its membership and their guests since mid-March 2020. Now, with the restrictions eased or ended, UVRA has started to organize in-person social and educational events.
Do you have a special place you would like to visit, a walk you would like to take, or something you would like to know more about? Would you consider offering your expertise to talk about a particular topic or topics? If yes, then please contact uvra@uvic.ca to let us know about it.
UVRA events are organized by volunteers so, it is only with your help that we can offer our membership a diversified and abundant choice of events every year. If you can volunteer to organize one or more events or to help in other ways, please let us know.

UVRA UPDATE
A Message from the Benefits Chair
Johnson have announced that premiums for the UVRA-Johnson insurance policies will increase as follows, effective September 1st, 2024.
The reasons given are inflation, claims trends and, in the case of Dental, the new fee structures that came into effect in BC on February 1st 2024.
Health 10%; Dental 5.7%; Prestige Travel 5%.
