Like We Don’t ExistFor the last seven decades, the Burmese military government has waged the world’s longest ongoing civil war against their own ethnic minorities. The Karenni, an ethnic group who have faced harsh opposition, survive as refugees along the Thai-Burma border. Hundreds of thousands of Karenni are now faced with an impossible choice: to live as refugees without rights or citizenship, or to attempt to return to their war-torn homeland.
