Conference presentation award

Hybrid 3D Research Lab represented the University of Victoria's UVic Engineering and Computer Science - Professional Programs and the MIAMI Research Centre (Material Innovation & Advanced Manufacturing Institute) at the HI-AM 2.0 Conference in Banff. It was a fantastic opportunity to reconnect with colleagues from across Canada, exchange ideas with our Additive Manufacturing industry partners, and learn from the outstanding 3D printing research. Congratulations to our lab members Joshua Latimer, Dmitri Karaman, and Ian Fraser for presenting their ongoing research on: process optimization in volumetric 3D printing(VAM), topology optimization of 3D printed stochastic architected metamaterials, and applications of 3D printed architected metamaterials in non-pneumatic tires design, respectively. An extra congratulations to Joshua Latimer and Dmitri Karaman for receiving the Student Presentation Award and Poster Award, respectively.
